Finally did it! Bought myself a beetle this week...and very happy i am. Honestly, if you have never sat in one you would not believe the space it has. Anyway, i know some people think my choice of car is a little "feminine". I love it however! Now its just to plan a road trip.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the (new) mini...
I seem to always be in the minority in thinking that the new beetle is a much more progressive design update whereas the new mini design just seems to have taken the old mini and inflated it a bit to add in safety features.
I would have gone for a beetle as well, if I didnt own a 156 ;-)
Hope you are doing well in Stockholm (or thereabouts), I'll be moving to Sweden soon hopefully! Sorry to hear about your Gran too.
